DRUG STORE FOUNDATIONS I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW

As someone who loves makeup, I feel very fortunate to be sent new releases by brands fairly regularly.  Although I don’t like to mess with my skincare routine too much, I’m always experimenting with the makeup I try, which includes a mixture of both luxury and drug store (high street) products.  Over the last few months I have tried and tested several different foundations and because I use self tan my skin tone often changes shade which helps when it comes to trying foundations that are a variety of tones if the brand doesn’t know my exact shade.  Read on to discover some foundations of a friendlier price point that I’ve tried and will continue to buy when my current one runs out.

Maxfactor Miracle Touch

I didn’t think I was going to like this as I tend to opt for a liquid foundation but it is almost like a whipped formula to the touch and glides over the skin so effortlessly whilst blending so well.  I use this under my eyes and over any blemishes to create that perfect ‘no makeup, makeup look.’

Revlon Candid Foundation

This has anti pollutant ingredients that help skin against harmful everyday factors like blue light from our phones.  I mix 2 shades together to create my perfect colour but I found it lasted well all day long.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

The application of this with a beauty blender is flawless, it feels similar to some of the luxury foundations I’ve used before and leaves a gorgeous glowy finish to the skin.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

I was pleasantly surprised by the glow this foundation gives, it’s not a new release for Rimmel but is one of their best foundations they’ve ever created and is especially helpful if I’ve not managed to get enough hours sleep the night before a long day!

ItCosmetics CC Cream

I knew I would love this before I tried it because it contains SPF 50 which made me want to wear it purely for the protection factor.  It’s lighter coverage than most foundations but gives a gorgeous even finish.  Plus they do an oil free version if you suffer from oily skin as the regular version might be a little too intense for your skin.
